1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms are between you and the operator of Turnaround ("Turnaround," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Turnaround, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement. Turnaround is intended for working professionals and is not directed to children under 13.
2. What Turnaround provides
Turnaround provides software tools for organizing production jobs, call-sheet information, work times, contacts, invoices, mileage, kit or equipment records, expenses, and tax-planning records.
Turnaround is not an employer, payroll company, employer of record, accounting firm, tax preparer, law firm, financial adviser, or collection agency. The service does not replace payroll records, contracts, tax forms, or professional advice.
3. Your account and security
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Do not share passwords, authentication codes, or access to another person's private workspace.
4. Your content and third-party information
You retain ownership of information and documents you submit to Turnaround. You give Turnaround a limited license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and format that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and provide the service.
Production documents may contain information about crew members, vendors, clients, or other people. You represent that you have the right or other lawful basis to upload and use that information through Turnaround. Do not upload material you are not authorized to possess or process.
5. Call sheet processing
Turnaround may process uploaded call sheets to suggest job, company, crew, contact, billing, date, call-time, and location information.
Extracted information can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming important information before saving it, traveling to a location, contacting a person, submitting time, generating an invoice, or otherwise relying on it.
The original call-sheet file is processed for extraction. Turnaround does not intentionally save the original uploaded file as a document in your Turnaround account. Extracted information you approve may be saved to your account. Additional processing and retention details are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically on the monthly or annual billing cycle shown at checkout unless canceled. Prices and plan features are shown before purchase and may change prospectively.
Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. Turnaround does not store your full payment-card number.
Canceling through billing settings generally prevents the next renewal while allowing access through the current paid period, unless the interface states otherwise. Deleting your Turnaround account may cancel an active subscription as part of account deletion.
Charges are generally non-refundable once processed except where required by law or where Turnaround expressly states otherwise. Any promotional credit, grandfathered access, or plan-change credit is governed by the terms shown in the product at the time of the change.
7. Pay, invoices, tax planning, and classification
Day-rate, overtime, double-time, turnaround, invoice, mileage, reimbursement, reserve, withholding, and year-end figures are recordkeeping or planning tools based on information entered or confirmed by you.
You are responsible for verifying contract terms, payroll records, paystubs, tax forms, applicable mileage rules, worker classification, union rules, and production-specific requirements. Turnaround does not determine whether you are properly classified as an employee or independent contractor.
See the Tax Disclaimer for additional information.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Turnaround to violate law or another person's rights, gain unauthorized access, probe or attack systems, distribute malware, interfere with service availability, scrape private user data, impersonate another person, or submit fraudulent records.
You may not attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, authentication, subscription controls, or security measures. Turnaround may restrict or suspend access reasonably believed to threaten users, the service, or third parties.
9. Third-party services
Turnaround relies on third-party providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, database services, payment processing, email delivery, security, and document processing. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Turnaround may also provide links to maps, websites, or services operated by third parties. Turnaround does not control those third-party services and is not responsible for their independent content or availability.
10. Availability, changes, and backups
Turnaround may modify, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. Maintenance, network failures, third-party outages, software defects, and other events may temporarily affect availability.
Keep independent copies of records you cannot afford to lose, including final invoices, tax documents, contracts, and original call sheets.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turnaround is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every production, payroll arrangement, tax situation, or legal requirement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turnaround will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, missed call times, payroll disputes, tax liabilities, or business interruption arising from use of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turnaround's aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to Turnaround during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
12. Suspension, cancellation, and account deletion
You may stop using Turnaround at any time. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions unless the product states otherwise.
Turnaround may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security threats, nonpayment, or where required by law. Where practical, Turnaround may provide notice before termination.
Account deletion is permanent once completed. Certain limited records may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, payment-provider systems, or where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, or accounting purposes.
13. General terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a formal claim, you and Turnaround agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after written notice through Contact Support.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without permission, except where law provides otherwise.
Turnaround may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another reasonable method. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through Contact Support.
